Well, another week has gone by and here I am again... Honestly, I
don't know where it has gone.
So. News. I'm in a new area (same zone) finally, though I really do
miss de Montfort and sis. Jones. But I wish all the best to her and
her greenie. 😊
Speaking of greenies.... I met sister Wadsworth. Sis. Spangler had a
trunky meeting, so I got to spend the day with the Wylde green
sisters.. Where sister Wadsworth is being trained. It was cool. I
forgot what it felt like to have a double. We are definite related. 😊
Also fun fact, sis. Spangler is from st. George!! Though she still has
no idea where Panaca/pioche is. Shame on her.. She is very blonde and
really sweet, though. And her driving hasn't killed me yet.. I do
have videos of what driving in England is like.
My new/final area of this transfer is Stamford. It's not even a ward,
it's only a branch and it is the most posh place I have ever been.
There was a giant house that we were going to go and see, but since it
was raining, sis. Spangler declined. 🙁🌧 but I walk down the streets
of any of the villages we go to, and I cannot help but think of how
very Jane Austin this area is.... Especially the giant house basically
right next door.
It's going to be a tough area, but the members are super sweet, and
are so willing to work with us. They give so much! ( mostly food...)
basically our week was us trying to figure out where we need to be
going, besides going to Birmingham two(!!!!) days in a row.
Sis. Spangler is working on getting her British licence, (something
about being the designated driver..) so she's the one driving, and I
just try to not scream TOO loud when a bus comes down the narrow
country lanes. (Imagine driving down pioche Main Street ALL the time,
and sometimes smaller.) if she doesn't get it by July 7, we're doomed.
😊
That's really all the news for this week. The last sister left this
area with not much to work with, so sister Spangler has been working
(with both companions she's had so far) basically from scratch.
What I've learned from this week, though, is miracles CAN happen if
you believe hard enough. I've also been reading from the Isaiah
chapters in 2 nephi this week, so repent all ye sinners, because it
will be bad if you don't!!
Love you all!! And I can't wait to hear from you next week. ✉️❤️🇬🇧😊
Cheers
