Dear mom, 

Who is josh flake. That is so weird to think aleesha is getting married.

 And I completely forgot Jessica was pregnant. What did they name him?

 I haven't been transferred yet, so I haven't talked in church besides my first week. 

This week has been another good one. It always feels like we go everywhere every week.

 But we have had a coupe, of miracles happen. I think the biggest one was on Saturday,

 where the bishop family, a family of recent converts in another ward, have friends that

 moved to Dudley and their daughter is an investigator. Anyways, jay bishop (he's crazy

, by the way, like he always calls the missionaries about two or three times every day and

 the only way I can think to describe him is Lee Mathews, but as a recent convert..)

 called us and told us to go, that they would be there, and we got to meet Carla.shes

 10 and so sweet. It was an interesting lesson that was kind of all over the place, (again

 jay bishop) but it was good. Another miracle that happened was on Tuesday we got to

 teach Norma, a less active elderly lady's daughter. She popped in for a visit while we

 were there and she had so many golden questions for us! The best part is that we got

 to see how much Norma remembers. Unfortunately, her daughter doesn't live in our

 area, but it felt good to refer her to our district leader who probably needs a miracle

 as much as we do. I won't ever forget that she called our religion the "rolls Royce" of

 religions. 😎😄 

And we finally got our ward to do something about Yvonne, another less active. She

 needed a priesthood blessing, and so the bishop and his councillor went and met her

 for the first time. But this week, we didn't get the chance to go out to Wombourne and

 see her. And it snowed this week a couple times! That made me so happy. 😄⛄️☃

Sister Lee laughs at me because I don't even bother to check the mail anymore. Jana

 sometimes emails me, grandma sometimes emails me, cami does, Chelsey, ally. Craig

, Kelsie, and Cameron only do if I email them first. I got a Christmas card from grandpa

 Wadsworth 😊.  That's about it.

 about.  I stay home and
 change diapers and drive kids around.  Dad works.  Kids go to school.  Weekends
 we rest and clean, then start all over again.We did get a new popcorn popper.  It is red. 
 How is that for exciting?We have also been doing really good on our dish free sink goal.  Tomorrow
 will be three weeks.  There are a few there from making cookies this afternoon, but
 I will do them before I go to bed.  So your life has to be more interesting than ours. 
 Tell us what is going on.  Any
 new investigators?  How about Diana and her family?    Do you get to talk in church?
  It seems like the missionary's are usually given a chance to speak here when we get
new ones.  Transfers are coming up soon too aren't they? Who else writes to you?  
Do you get real letters from anyone? since you don't get any
 from us?  I will try to be better about that.  I guess that's about it.  Maybe something
 interesting or exciting will happen this week.
  (That may not necessarily be a good thing to hope for)We all love you.  I am becoming
 a better person because of your example.  So you are

Dear mom,

 I'm glad you survived talking in church. :) and I survived another week. Haha actually this week was really good. There was exchanges on Tuesday, so I spent the day in harbourne, and that was really fun because sis Powely is from Vegas. Wednesday we had a zone meeting and learned a lot of things about missionary work. Thursday sis Lee and I headed to Wombourne to visit a less active member, and we talked about priesthood blessings, because she's going to have a surgery soon, and it would really help her. Her daughter is really worried because she doesn't have big chance of surviving the operation. But honestly, I love this member, she's a lot like grandma is and she's just so easy to love. 😄 Friday we had a very interesting lunch at a pub with some members. Don't worry, there was no alcohol served to us. Just soup and carvery. And afterwards, sis Lee was feeling really ill, so we stayed in all day. Saturday we met Diana again and had a lesson with her and her husband. And Sunday was church. We taught the end of the 12-14 Sunday school, and sharing time in primary. No talks in church this time though. 🙂 and this morning, the relief society has a thing called the choc and do, and I learned how to knit! I've started a scarf and its gray and teal. The wonderful sister who taught me has so much patience with both sister Lee, who is learning how to crochet, and me and somehow keeping us both on track. 

So this week hasn't been too exciting, but there have been a few tender mercies that we've made sure not to forget, like on morning our water stopped working, so we said a prayer and when I went to fill up my cup a few minutes later, not thinking about it, it worked! And when we were stopping by people on the ward list in Wombourne, there was one house that had a really huge gate we could not have managed to get into ourselves, but they drove up and talked to us a little, even if they weren't interested 😭. But still a miracle. There have been a couple of others as well. We've picked up a new investigator named Allen, he's a sick man, but has a bit of faith and the elders had been teaching Him before they left. 😄 

So this week has been a blessing. I really learned how to appreciate what each and every day teaches me. I rely love that every day I'm a little bit better than I was at the beginning. And that's what life is all about: what you learn from your experiences.

Well, the talk is over.  I'm not sure it was a good one.  But it is over, and it's too late now.  

This week has been pretty normal.  Just the same old stuff.  It was good to get back into my routine.  It did snow almost every day, so I guess that changed it up a little.

Dad has stayed up in Ely this week, trying to get more work.  Since they cut back the overtime at the mine, he has been driving for AGL (same place Matt works) on his days off to make up the difference.  He would have driven down and back in the snow if he came home, so he decided to play it safe.

I think Chelsey was glad to go back to work; I know we are pretty boring after her exciting life in Twin Falls.  At least she gets to talk to people while she is at school.  She just needs her visa and she is ready to go to China.  Jacques rode in to Pioche with her the other day, and I guess her driving scared him.  Don't tell her I said that.

Ally tried out for the play.  She should find out tomorrow what part she got.  It has been nice having her come home every day, but that will change now with play practice starting.  

Jacques did not try out, but he still wants to be in the play.  He just didn't want to sing a song for try outs.  I will miss him coming home everyday too.  I will have to bring wood in myself.  He is really close to doing his Eagle project.  At least he gets to start on the paperwork soon.  

Benson is still Benson.  Some days he is happy and easy to get along with, then other days, he just wants to pick a fight over everything.  The good days are coming more often and lasting longer.  Riding home from ball practice or games when it is just him and me, he talks all the way home.  They lost both of their games this weekend. Needles crushed them, but Laughlin was a really close game.  They only lost by 2.

Natty is doing good in school and band.  She sounds a lot better on the trumpet now.  She has been reading a lot of books on her tablet.  She is expanding her horizons.  We found a place online to get unlimited books for 8.99.  So Ally, Natty, and I all share the account and get our money's worth.  

I had an easy week last week.  No Taryn and Ashton all week.  Keldyn and Ryder started playing together a lot better without Ashton here.  They will be back tomorrow, but after a break I hope they will be easier.  Reiko is just fun to take care of.  The boys both all love to help with him.    I took Keldyn and Ryder sledding over at Grandma's house on Thursday.  They had so much fun!  It was so funny to just sit Ryder on the sled and push him over the hill.  Then I would ride another sled down so I could help him get his sled back up the hill.

That was our week, how was yours?  When do you have transfers again?  Tell us about your investigators and what you are doing.  Share some more details and stories of what is going on.

Tuffy will be home next month.  And did I tell you Emma had her appendix out?  New Year's Eve I think it was.  That is 2 in 3 months for the Pearson's.

I can't think of anything else.  And it is late.  I love you.  Work hard and listen harder.

Ps. Please tell aunt Amy and her family thanks for the Christmas presents! I enjoyed them very much and I and so grateful for little useful things she sent. And I loved the letters form the ward, even if it wasn't Christmas, I didn't even care. So, thanks!!!❤️

Some path in Wombourne

Dear mom, 

For new year's we went home at six and didn't come out the next day until one. We also had a flat inspection on the first of the year and so our flat is now spotless! It's so nice to have a clean flat. Honestly, the spirit is there more in clean places and it just feels better. Came has told me all about her week. It sounds awful. I've had a couple of days like that before. 

I would say all of  he commandments help you feel the saviours love. Pick the one you need to work on the most, and once you start to work on it, his love is so much more in your life and then start over again. I think why because you are always needing to improve, and you get comfortable if you're not working on improving something in your life. 

We do go tracting and it's always interesting. We got a new investigator this week from it. 

Is that picture of ally or cami? I honestly can't tell. I was so surprised to hear about sister Wright. What happened? I loved seeing you all to this Christmas!

Happy New Year!! Did you do anything to celebrate? For the first time in forever, we all stayed home.  Even the boys.  We didn't do anything exciting, but it was nice to just be home.  

That was pretty much the whole 2 weeks, just us.  Poor Natty has been pretty bored.

Dad took Cami back to Twin Falls on Monday.  They were supposed to leave by 10 am, but it was almost 4 in the afternoon.  You know how that works.

We had Taryn and Ashton Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  Wow, those were long days.  That is probably the only reason I want school to start again.  Oh, and I miss my other extra kids.  

Benson had a tournament in Vegas, but they didn't do so well.  He said they got creamed.  I believe him.  They played in Mesquite yesterday, too.  Creamed again.  The girls won, though.

Linda Wright passed away last week.  Very unexpected.  Her funeral will be next week.  

There really hasn't been anything happening.  Like I said, we are pretty boring.  We did go up to Echo and play on the ice.  I was kind of nervous not knowing if it was thick enough, but none of us fell through.

Oh, the topic for my/your talk on Sunday has changed.  It is now:What commandment helps you feel the Saviors love, and why.  I am supposed to ask you, and then report on your answer and tell how you are doing.  So tell me what to say.

Chelsey is getting closer to going to China, but I'm sure she will tell you about that.  She just needs to get her visa and ticket.

Cami ended up with strep throat when she got back home.  

Ally and Natty both had their hair cut.  They look a lot like Cami now.  It was almost weird how much Cami and Ally look alike.  Not that Cami or Ally are weird, but, you know what I mean (I hope).

That's about it.  

I just remembered our greatest accomplishment this week.  We kept the kitchen counter free of dirty dishes for an ENTIRE WEEK!!!!!  We started a new rule that you must wash any and all dishes you use immediately.  We started last Monday, and are still going strong.  Yeah us!!

How are you and Sister Lee doing? do you go door to door tracting? I should know these things, but I forget to ask, and when people ask me about you, I think I will ask you about stuff, and I still forget.  so just tell me all.

It was so good to talk to you on Christmas, and see how happy you are, and how great you are doing.  Don't forget to answer about the talk topic.  I am not looking forward to next Sunday.

Dear mom, 

I am finally getting into the Christmas spirit. I haven't been feeling it as much this year because I don't get the chance to blare Christmas carols everyday, and we only have the church songbooks ones anyways.. Also we're not too decorated for Christmas besides the small tree we put up in November and what we made at the relief society activity. But this week has definitely helped me get more into it. 😊 I got to be part of some really awesome service opportunities this week and it was just awesome. 

The first one is that we were meeting a less active member who had been clearing out some of her Christmas decorations and she asked us if there was anyone we knew who could use them... And so we took them and hiked across Wombourne with them, and visited with another sister who has been taking care of her husband after his surgery. And while we were there we got to play Christmas elves a little and help her wrap presents for the primary kids. (And we very gratefully accepted a ride home with our new Christmas treasures) then we also helped put up the decorations for the ward Christmas party, and on Friday finally got to deliver them. We gave them to Diana's family because we just knew that she would love them, and she did! It was so awesome to do so much service this week I loved it. And the Christmas party was a success. We got to meet a lot of less active members who we'd never seen before, and even a few non members came to it. And Diana's son Luca was the cutest! She had dressed him up as a little donkey and he just ran around in circles because that's what he saw the big kids doing (they were playing tag) it was adorable and nice to see Diana out of here flat and being with other people. 😊 

I have not gotten my package yet, but hopefully it will get here before Christmas. Natty a play looks like it was fun to watch. They do Christmas plays here too! And even if benson's team isn't doing the best, it's still fun to watch. I'm sorry you hit a deer. At least the car still works. Mostly..🙂 

It still hasn't snowed yet, it rains some still, sometimes it's cold, sometimes it's not. And transfers are this week.  That's about it. 

Oh, and the most interesting thing I ate this week was curry and pasta together. And I bought a gingerbread cookie and very much enjoyed every bite. 😊 that's about it this week. I'm finished training this transfer and sister Lee might be leaving me. 😕

Did you get our package yet?  The one you sent us is sitting in the post office right now.  We got the notice too late to get it on Friday.  

I'm trying to remember what has happened this week.  Mostly we have passed around a lot of germs.  We just can't seem to get rid of this cold.  It just passes back and forth.

Natty's play was on Tuesday.  It was the best 6th grade Christmas play I've seen.  Short, cute, and Natty was in it!  I will send a picture of it.

The 6th graders have been in DC so Natty has had a pretty easy week at school.  Four of the kids from LC got to participate in the wreath ceremony for the tomb of the unknown soldier.  

Chelsey has been having fun at school.  She is waiting for a letter from China so she can buy her plane ticket.  

Ally and Jacques are between things right now.  It's nice to have them come home after school.

Benson's team didn't do too well with games.  They lost to Lake Mead and Mountain View.  (It was pretty bad).

He didn't play much the first game, but the Saturday game, he played more.  He did really well when he did play. He fell and smacked his head and elbow really hard.  It sounded awful, but he got back up and kept playing.  

On Wednesday I hit a deer.  It took out the headlight and front fender, but the car is still drivable.  It's been a few years since I've hit one, so I guess it was my turn.  

It has been "flat tire season" here.  We finally borrowed Grandpa Frehner's tire patch kit, and learned to fix them ourselves.  We are going to have to buy him a new kit cuz we've used it so much.  But it sure has save us some money.  It is snowing again tonight.  I love it, but I think most people want to kick me for wanting it to snow.  Sister Hammond (Alyson) got mad at me in primary today for singing a snowy song.  

Toys for Tots was yesterday.  I love helping with it.  This might be the last year, though.  We'll see.  

Things are winding down for the night.  Dad left for work, he took Chelsey to Panaca, then headed North.  Natty has gone to bed, and so has Ally.  I need to start chasing the boys to bed now.
