October 10, 2016

Greetings all!! 😊

How should I describe this last week to you? It's definitely been an
interesting one.
Maybe I'll start off with Tuesday, still bussing, we decided to go and
see Emma, our recent convert's mom. Because Emma is 9, so she was in
school.... but our visit was good, though the busses are slow in this
particular area.. and afterwards we took the same bus 🚌 to uppingham.
We were going to get a lift home from the members who lived there but
they couldn't do that until about 7, so we did lots of finding in that
area...

Wednesday , the Peterborough sisters took us (and the car) to Notts
for my test--- and I PASSED!!! What a relief it has been to be driving
again (did you know that England has one of the hardest driving tests
to pass in the world??!)

Thursday, a zone conference to be trained on the poppy appeal

And Friday was a funeral for a member of Stamford who had passed away.
But-- also a miracle happened, so Alex always walked by the church on
his way home, and one day he saw the door open and went inside where
he met the relief society president and this member who died's
husband, who told him a bit about the church gave him a Book of Mormon
and invited him to come celebrate the life of dee. Which he did, and
then Noel, dee's husband introduced him to US, and it was sososososo
cool. I can't wait to see where this miracle goes. 😊😊 please pray
for this guy!!

Saturday, my cold finally got the best of me... and Sunday was a good
"fast & sacrament meeting" as president Edwards called it... haha.
Other news to look forward to is that transfers are changed to
Friday.. because Elder cook is coming!! My girl is going to be a fully
trained missionary by Friday. I wish I could tell you if I was going
or not, but we won't know until Wednesday.
Love you 😘 lots❤️❤️
Cheers from sister Wadsworth πŸ˜‰

That stinks. I really just miss the temple.
If it makes you feel better for exercise this morning we cleaned our fridge. Haha. It was gross!!
Hmm.. do you think you could also start trying to find me a job?? Money isn't important but it sure makes things easier.. and so do cars. But you also need money for that.. 😊

Love you!!

Dear Rachel, Cami, Chelsey, and Ally,
Another week.  It took a few days to recover from last weekend, but I finally feel normal again.  Monday was pretty rough becuase I just wanted to sleep, and the littles wouldn't let me.  but we powered through and here we are.
I think I had a different combination of kids everyday last week.  Reiko was the only one that was here everyday on his usual schedule.  On Thursday, we had an "adventure day".  I took Ryder, Canon, and Reiko up to Echo and we walked halfway across the dam and then climbed down to the water and threw rocks.  They loved it!  They would try to get some big rocks, then make me throw them in, or try to do it themselves, and the rocks would just sort of slowly roll into the water with hardly a splash.  Then we went to the bridge and ran across it and threw some more rocks.  They loved that we had "two adbentures".  then after preschool, we went to Grandma's and played with her outside toys.  They were happy boys!
Natty taught FHE this week.  We have started to go through the Nursery manual for lessons.  We learned that Heavenly Father has a plan for us.  Benson has this week.  He has been pretty good about joining us.  He even participates and encourages us to get it started, so it can get over with, so he can do his homework.
Not much else happened during the week.  Jacques had a football game on Friday in Laughlin.  They won 48-0.  I tried to listen to it on the computer, but the computer kept cutting out, so I finally gave up.  I headed down to Panaca to pick Jacques up at 1:30 or so, but the didn't get there til about 3.  I was worried I'd fall asleep and not wake up in time, so I just went and waited.
Friday, also, Teri and Natty and I (and Teri's 3 adopted grandkids) went pinenut picking.  We had a lot of fun.  I love being up in the mountains, and to be with my sister and Natty was a lot of fun.  I picked about an ice cream bucket full, but when I got home and washed and "floated" them, I only ended up with about half a bucket.  The ones that float aren't any good.
Saturday Jacques had his Eagle project.  I'm still not to sure what he did, but I took him in at 8 ish and he told me to just come back at noon with lunch for everyone.  They went out and pulled out some old mining claim markers somewhere near Pioche.  there were 5 boys from Panaca, Camden, John Condie, Joseph Lamb, Paul Graf, Charles Graf (Lauralynn's brothers) and Dann Mathews.  I took in stuff for sandwiches on homemade rolls, chips, soda, and  cookies.  I forgot to throw the little table in the car, so they had to use the tailgate of one of the trucks to fix their food on.  Now Jacques just needs to get all the paperwork done, and he will be an Eagle Scout.
Benson has decided that he won't do the orphanage project for his Eagle project.  He wants to fix up the shooting range in Pioche.  The push is on.  They will both be 18 soon.
After the project, we came home and Jacques got ready for the Renaissance Festival.  He got to be the priest.  He asked me to make him a hat thingy to go with his costume, but I put it off until the very last minute.  We stopped at the store and bought poster board and glue, then went to the auditorium to but it together.  It turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself.  I should have taken a picture.
I didn't stay for the dinner.  After being up til 3 the night before, I was really dragging.  So I came home and called it a day.  Benson, Natty, and I just chilled.  We watched The Black Cauldron.  It was the Halloweeniest movie we could come up with.  I didn't even wait up for Jacques, but told Natty to turn the lights off when he got home.
I almost forgot to tell you that I saw Craig.  He is working at the store in Panaca.  We had a nice chat (he actually came and talked to me!) twice.  We did miss his homecoming talk.  He snuck it in before anyone knew he was home.  Sneaky.
That's about it.  The house is still a mess, because we are always too tired at the end of the day to clean, and weekends have been crazy.  Mostly we just clean the top layer and call it good.  It is starting to bug me, though, so I am going to have to take care of it soon.
So, all of you need to write and tell me what is going on in your lives.
Rachel, tell Sister Myoviojlsjfie? that I loved her letter, I wrote back to her finally, but I couldn't find the right words to say.
Also, you mentioned wanting to go to the temple even before coming home, but I asked for you to fly in to Cedar so you could see the temple there, and it won't be open by then.  sorry.
I love you all.  I pray for you every day.  It is so weird that sometimes when I am praying for you I ask for things for yo that I wouldn't normally say.  I know that Heavenly Father is aware of your needs, and somehow, I know what to ask for.  It doesn't happen a lot, but enough that I have really noticed it.
good night. or good morning. or afternoon.
Love you!!!
Mom

I was thinking of you when someone compared the gospel to a puzzle.. πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜„ that's so exciting that peyton is walking!! Craig said that all he was doing for at least a week was sleeping... which reminds me that when I get home the first thing I want to do is go to the temple. Even before I get released. 😊 I miss that place. You can plan whatever else you want but I just want to go to the temple. And for Christmas maybe some new g's would be nice to have. Mine are starting to turn a bit grey...
it sounds like Lincoln is killing it in football 🏈 this year, way to go lynx!! Haha.
Enjoy your nap!! Love you 😘 mom!!

Dear girls,
Can you believe that there are 4 of you gone now?  It is so quiet here.  And the ones that are still home all hate to do dishes.
So we had another slow week, and a busy weekend.  Peyton was sick on Monday, and spent the morning here with us.  She is walking now, but is still pretty tippy.  And she wasn't feeling well.  So I brought her in and stood her up, and Reiko and Ryder were alll right next to her, and she tipped right over.  There was a tangle of arms and legs.  She landed right on Reiko and mostly just scared him.  So the rest of the day, whenever she was near him, he would be like "get away from me".  He still doesn't want her near him, even in the car.  It's kind of funny.  So that was the funniest thing that happened this week.
Friday was a little crazy.  Your dad was home, but needed to leave for work around noon.  benson went to work at 7.  Jacques was doing Camden's papers (delivering the Record in Caliente, Pananca, and Pioche) so he needed a driver.  Chelsey had work, and Dad wanted to change the oil in the car before he left.  We did get it all done, and everyone delivered and picked up and dropped off.  Then we got to be home for a couple of hours and go down to the football games.  Natty is still loving pep band.  We played Meadows.  It started out as a close game, but we won 50 something to 30 something.  It wasn't even very cold.  The  next 2 games are away, then it is homecoming and Senior night the next  2 weeks.
After the game, the seniors had Senior Sunrise.  They spent the night at the gym and watched the sunrise from court rock.
We left for Twin Falls the next morning.  We were going to be on the road before 7, but we were are so tired that we didn't even get up until 6:30, and then had to load the car and get ready.  so it was 7:30ish when we got away.  (But that was my evil plan to actually be on the road before 8).  We drove up and got Chelsey situated in her new house.  She is living with a lady who just got divorced and was looking for room mates so she could keep her house.  Chelsey will have to keep us all updated on how it is working out.    While we were there we finally took Cami out for her birthday lunch and got her presents to her.  (Sorry, Cam)  We did a little shopping and then Natty and I headed home.  Natty gave up on me about Wells around 9, so it was a long boring drive home.  We got home at 1:15 am and walked in the house and went straight to bed.
This morning, we didn't even get out of bed until 9, then watched conference in our pajamas.  We had pancakes and waffles during the sessions since we got up so late.  and no one did the dishes.  So that is my goal for tomorrow.  Do dishes.  Fun.
I'm sorry this letter isn't very long or interesting.  I am so tired, even with a long nap, and I have a head ache.  so I am just going to go to bed.  I will try to send some pictures tomorrow.
I love you all.  Work hard, and do good things.
Love,
Mom
PS  I hear that Craig is back, but I haven't seen him.  We will try to go to his homecoming.
