November 28, 2016

Hey everyone. What a week!! Instead of giving you a play by play I thought this week you could get a week of gratitude. Because thanksgiving. So I am thankful for:
- Brandon. He got baptised this week!!!!!!!!!!! πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜„πŸ˜„It was the best thing ever. He was so excited. Everything went mostly smooth until we realised we actually couldn't catch a bus to be at the church by half seven. But, it all worked out in the end.
- Amy. She came to church this week(finally!!) it only took about five tries to get her there.
- it has not rained much this week. Only poured on us Monday. 😊☔️️
- new Christmas video!! #LighttheWorld. So cute❤️❤️
- sister Carson. It's been a great six weeks with her. We've seen lots of miracles, and now she's moving off to Swindon to train her girl.
- unexpected testimony meetings. Stake conference is next week. And they didn't warn anyone about fast and testimony meeting before until they saw the blank looks on everyone's faces.... but the testimonies were amazing and Brandon was confirmed and is official!! He's a Mormon!
- Blackwood district and our attempt at a thanksgiving meal. (The elders forgot to defrost the turkey...)
- our relief society. They had a "thanksgiving" Friday.. so we showed up expecting a meal and hungry....and saw snack foods. It was a good activity, but not what we were expecting. I think I've forgotten what a proper thanksgiving is like anyways. Haha.
- CHRISTMAS!!πŸŽ…πŸŒ²πŸŒ²☃️🎁🎁❤️❤️πŸ˜ŠπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§thanksgiving and transfers are his week so we can start celebrating officially now. 😊😊
- apple crumble and custard ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ (best pudding ever)
- MY MISSION❤️πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜„πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§I am so grateful for the church and the gospel! It has taught me so much about life and just how much God loves me and everyone. It's taught me how to have just a small piece of that love for all those I meet.

My scripture of the transfer (the one that made it in the back of my planner) is
mosiah 16:9- He is the light and the life of the world; yea, a light that is endless, that can never be darkened; yea, and also a life which is endless, that there can be no more death.
(it goes with the new video) I love the focus this year of serving others.
Love you all!! Happy Christmas!!
Sister Wadsworth 😊❤️πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Dear Rachel, Chelsey, and Cami, (Ally has been here, so she already know most of this)
What a fun week!!  Only 2 days of work, then 5 days of play.  My kind of schedule.
So let's see. . .Monday and Tuesday were just normal days.  Then Wednesday, the fun started. The boys had basketball practice at 8 (yes, 8) am.  So much for sleeping in.  Dad had a dr. appt. in Elko that day, so he took the boys down in the van, and then I picked them up later in the truck.  Why, you may ask,  did your father drive all the way to Elko to go to the dr?  His first appt was in Ely, but, since it was a work related injury, they wanted a second opinion, and the specialist they prefer to use is in Elko.  So.  Yeah.
Anyway, after getting the boys home, we made pies.  Natty made the pumpkin pies this year.  They disappeared, so they must have been good.  I wouldn't know.  We also did apple and cherry and chocolate.  Natty had a banana cream that she made at school in her foods class, and Benson had a pumpkin pie that he made at school.  We had a lot of pie.
Ally made it home that afternoon.  She rode with Megan.  I'm sure she will tell you about that adventure.  We just hung out at home, and then went to visit Megan and Teri at Grandma's.
Thanksgiving was fun.  We ate at Grandma's and Grandpa's.  It was just Megan, West, Addy, and us.  Dinner was ready by 10:30, and we were eating by 11:30.  We were done before Santa made it on TV in the Macy's parade.  Dad was changing the oil in the van, and once again, we started without him.
We spent the whole day over at Grandma's.  Playing games and watching football and visitng and napping.  I love being with family.
Friday morning we got your dad ready for work and off by 1.  Then I went pinenut picking with Megan and Grandma and Grandpa and West.  Ally and Natty kept Addy.  We picked up Albert and his family in Panaca and headed up to Panaca summit.  That was fun, too.  I guess I can say that I love being with family in small groups.
We went back to Grandma's and Grandpa's that night.  boy were there a lot of people.  Megan, Albert, Justin, Henry, Amanda,  and lots of kids.  Crazy, but fun.
Saturday, the boys had practice again.  At least it was at 9 instead of 8.  Then we just took it easy for the rest of the day.  We did go back to visit Megan once more before they left today.
During all of this, Ally diligently got all her homework done.  I think she did more than any of the rest of us all week.
Today was Dirk's homecoming.  We didn't go, but Grandma and Grandpa did.  We stayed home and talked in church.  At least, Ally and I did.  And Keisha Lister and her husband and John Mathews.  We all spoke about the Holy Ghost.
Mine was kind of rambly.  From when I first realized that the goose bumply feeling I was having at church was the Holy Ghost to now when I get little nudges in my head about things I need to do.
Then 2 hours of singing in primary.  And pizza when we came home.  It takes forever to make, but it is so worth it.
Ally is going back to Reno tomorrow.  Bevan Lister is going up for something, and so she is going with him.  We did get some snow last night and a little this morning.  I really wasn't looking forward to driving up and back in the snow, so I am glad she could get a ride with him, even if she does miss a class or two.  Sorry, Ally.
So that is our week.  Nothing very exciting.  Not really any miracles.  Unless you count that Ally was able to get home for Thanksgiving.  Even on Monday, she wasn't sure she would make it.
All of you need to tell me what you did for Thanksgiving.  Except Ally.  She was here.
Rachel, Eve sent me a picture of you and someone she knows.  You looked really good. And happy.
We missed you Cami and Chelsey.  But I know you will be here for Christmas.
I'm not sure there is anything else to tell you.  You know I love you.  You know nothing ever happens here.  Except snow.  It snowed.
Love you.
Mom
